ME! That's right, I'm back with an all-new version of "The Jaida Renee Diaries." However, I'm sure that some of you don't know me, so allow me to (re-)introduce myself; I'm Jaida, 20 years old & from Queens, New York City, currently studying Creative Writing at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. I am SO excited to have my blog up & running again, because I have SO much to share with you all! So for those of you who know me, HEY GIRL, HEY! Lol, & as always, thanks for reading :) Here are some things that are new with TJRD blog!
- Hair- I went natural almost a year ago, & although I always have been, I'm even more obsessed with hair than ever! (I know, cray, right?!) So you can look forward to many discussion posts/videos about black hair, relaxed vs. natural, product reviews, style photos, and tips & advice.
- Poetry- Poetry is not just what I do, its who I am! So you can definitely look forward to more poetry from me this time around on a wide variety of topics. I'm also working on a poetry EP, so look out for some exclusive downloads of my poetry as well!
- Videos- Recently, I've started making videos on a variety of topics- ranging from hair (of course), to the N-word. I want this blog to be as interactive as possible, so look forward to some video footage of yours truly :)
- Music/TV/Media- So, I have a strong opinion on these three topics, so you can DEF be sure you will hear/see them! I encourage discussion as well, so don't be shy, comment!
- Love/Friendship- I gotta go there! I love love, am in love, and love to be loved! So, we're gonna talk about it here <3
- God- I love Him, He loves me! You'll be sure to hear all about His Greatness here! :)
- Randomness- Naturally. You can expect nothing less from Jay.
